Vans and Monster Energy Pro-Circuit Kawasaki rider Jake Weimer was back on top of the podium with the win in San Diego! The rain was back for supercross this past weekend in San Diego making for a long day in the pits.Saturday night the plastic tarps were pulled off the dry preserved track to try and give the fans the best racing possible for the wet and cold evening! Once the main event was underway Jake Weimer blasted out of the starting gate with the holeshot leading the Lites field all 15 laps to the checkered flag taking his fourth victory of the season!

The rain cleared and the celebration went on! Check out the photos from the grand opening event this past weekend at our newest Vans store in Costa Mesa, CA.  The What If? bus was skated, Christian Hosoi, Joel Tudor, Omar Hassan and Jeff Grosso signed autographs, Tomorrow's Tulips (Alex Knost) performed an acoustic set, and everyone  went home with free stuff.  For all of those that came out...thanks for showing up!  Stay tuned for a video recap soon.
